Confidential Settlement in Franchise Dispute Against Robert Half International

In Robert Half of Kansas City v. Robert Half International SSH represented a long-time franchisee against its franchisor, Robert Half International - a $4 billion company that bills itself as the worldwide leader in specialized employment placement. RHI began buying back franchisees in the mid 1980s and by the late 1990s, only a few of the original 100-plus franchisees remained. Our client, who had been a RHI franchisee since 1971 and was the last holdout, came to SSH seeking to enforce his rights under the RHI franchise agreement. A contentious arbitration ensued, resulting in a confidential settlement.
